oulou’s Garden was born from a passion and appreciation
for the organic and heirloom fruits, vegetables and herbs
that are sustainably grown here in our wonderful Northern
California climate.
Casey Havre, founder of Loulou's
Garden, has been putting up the fruits of the seasons since
she was a child. She recalls, "There was always something
magical about tasting a jar of apricot jam in the middle of
winter - each jar seemed to transport me to the summer before…
I would remember the fruit on the tree, the smell and feel
of the apricots as I cut them, and the heat and aroma in the
kitchen as they cooked."
We feel that it is both the high quality ingredients and the
love of seasonal cooking that contributes a little bit of
magic to each and every jar.
